Ticking Doors
Digital escape rooms in the browser. Timed puzzle chains in themed rooms, no install needed.
v1.7.0

An escape room is a locked space, a running clock and a chain of puzzles. This is the same thing minus the room — it runs in the browser with nothing to install.
288 puzzles spread across eight rooms, each entirely different in theme and difficulty — pirates, Al Capone, a Baker Street mystery, a space station, Titanic's final hours and Grimoire, a library of spells, are among them. One room is always free as an entry point, the rest are paid. Answers are matched fuzzily, so a typo still counts — but only fuzzily enough that a wrong answer stays wrong.
Built in Flutter on Firebase, with an admin panel for editing rooms and puzzles without touching code, and support for five languages.
PURPOSE & PROBLEM
A way to sell puzzle experiences directly to players, without owning a physical space or booking staff — and without going through a third-party game platform that takes its cut.
AUDIENCE
Friend groups, families and remote teams who want a shared activity without needing to be in the same room.
TECH STACK
RUNNING IT YOURSELF
Needs a Firebase project (Firestore + Auth). The Flutter app builds and deploys as web; the admin panel for editing rooms and puzzles ships in the same codebase.
RELEASE HISTORY
Support for five languages: Swedish, English, Norwegian, Danish and German.
Escape Game launched at escape.jimlov.se. Eight rooms, 288 puzzles. One room is always free as an entry point.
